In the summer of 2013, my wife Brianna literally forced me to come and do a CrossFit workout. Soon after, I met Dan and Jon, my brothers from another mother. My life and the lives of many others have changed ever since.
I started coaching because I passionately believe in the life-changing benefits of functional fitness. My goal and the goal of the True Glory CrossFit staff is to inspire individuals to make a long-term lifestyle change. I find that being a coach is much more than teaching someone how to perform a movement properly. I believe that fostering a positive training environment helps our members overcome self-doubt and fear as they achieve their fullest potential as athletes and human beings.
I love WODs that expose my athletic weaknesses. I believe that life begins at the end of one’s comfort zone. Therefore, come to our gym and “Do something uncomfortable today. By stepping out of your box, you don’t have to settle for what you are – you get to create who you want to become.” –Howard Walstein
