Hi guys! My name is Joa! (Pronounced like Noah but with a J instead)… I like to think I’m a funny, outgoing person with a lot of heart and a love for food.My fitness journey started a long time ago when I was very young. I played many sports growing up but then volleyball became my main focus in high school. I enjoyed sports, but found my true niche in CrossFit in 2014. Ever since then, CrossFit and True Glory have both been major components in bettering my overall health and physical fitness. I have met countless PR’s and my goals have grown to a point that I would not have even recognized back when I first started. I’ve competed twice in CrossFit competitions, signed up for the CrossFit Open and enjoy the intensity and the push to be the best version of myself that this sport brings to the table.
I attend East Stroudsburg University and I’m going into my senior year as a double major in Accounting and Business Management. Im a nerd at heart and so I love my major and crunching numbers. A couple things that I love about coaching are helping others in their fitness journey and helping them achieve goals they’ve set for themselves and meet those PR’s. To me, it’s an amazing feeling to watch athletes of all ages succeed and to be able to help them along the way. I have found coaching to be a very humbling experience, and have also noticed that I’ve learned a lot more from the athletes and my coaches than I would have on my own.
I am a true believer in bringing everything you have and laughing at least a little everyday. To be willing to learn and try new things. Because it costs $0.00 to be coachable. I’ve found a family in True Glory and am so grateful to be a part of such an awesome team.
